03. Xmas - 1911

It's 1911. I don't know what happened to 1910. We're still on South Fourth Street.

Grandpa has now added telephone poles with power lines to boot. Also, there's now a 'scenic background' set of panels propped up against the wall.

The first two layouts were roughly square in shape, but this one is more long-and-narrow. Maybe he put this in a different room.

Interesting layout. The trees always seem a bit scrawny. I doubt that they were grown as Christmas trees. They probably came from the woods or a farm.

yeah, that's not much of a tree-trunk, is it? we should probably call this a "Christams bush". :-)
