Last pic for tonight. Maybe the same baby as before, maybe not. If not, then this is Hazel.
We get a good picture of the Tow Path. I'm a little surprised it isn't just simply two wheel ruts. It's rather narrow, ain't? Definitely not a place for an automobile.
Still more picturesque trees in the background, across the river. If you blow this image way up, you might be able to barely make out some farm buildings in the background, across the river. Maybe. This photo was in relatively poor condition, which makes it hard to see much detail. I greyscaled it to try to help increase the contrast.

Hazel 3 years old in 1910 - baby looks too young.

This happy baby is Hazel. And the tow path was not for wheeled traffic - the boats were pulled by mules, in single file. I wonder what the flowers on the bank are. The leaves look like strawberries, and if so, it would be a great place to come picking in a few weeks.
