That's Grandpa Ludwig on the right. Looks like he was watering the trees and plants outside the bungalow. There's not enough details to ID the guy on the left, seated in the lotus position and meditating. Update : The man in the lotus position is possibly (my) Uncle Bob. Thanks, Ellen!

I know this spot. This is taken from the driveway going in, and that's one of the row of poplar trees that my dad planted, at the left foreground. I think that's Bob seated. The big tree with the ivy on it at the far right was where they put a small vegetable garden during WWII. They had the tree cut down, I was there that day. I also remember that one summer there was an oriole's nest in it - the kind that hang down like a sling. The only time I ever saw one.
