I'm not sure of the date of this pic - maybe sometime around 1955 or so. A very nice pic. I wonder if it was taken at a studio, or if Uncle John snapped it.

Jim was born in 1945 (same year as Bill) and he looks to be about 8 here (??) I don't know the year Jeff was born, but he looks about 4. This could have been a Christmas card picture. I bet it's not a studio one, because of the distinct shadow behind Jim. Anyway, it's a real good photo of them.

(laughs) i didn't even notice the shadow. i was looking at the striped ottoman that Jeff is sitting on, and thought to myself, "no studio would use that. it distracts from the people in the portrait".
