I will give one tidbit (courtesy of Janet) : Hazel was valedictorian of her class! That beats my mediocre 52-out-of-251 high school standing. ;-)

The library in the background is the Public Library; one of many financed by Andrew Carnegie. The front room to the right was used as a kindergarten classroom for a few years (that's where I attended kindergarten taught by Ethel Wolfinger). The library still stands with a few modifications (new cupola and a room converted to a computer room). mick.......
i was impressed that Hazel was valedictorian. it would be interesting to see where all of us graduated in our High School classes. i have a feeling that my 52/251 may be as low as anyone finished. we seem to be a brainy bunch.
