Another picture where I don't recognize the house. I get the impression this collie had the humans "trained" real well to give him (her?) treats. My three dogs have mastered that 'art' as well.Was this taken on a holiday, or did the flag fly in the front yard every day?

Grace and Jerry. At their house on Spruce Street, probably during the war or shortly before it. Might be Memorial Day or 4th of July. Or if she had it taken to send to Bob, it was a nice touch. That's the kitchen window there, and a knotty pine built-in breakfast nook was right there.
