Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
Oh what a nice photo of Hazel, Janet, and Ellen! I'll let Janet say where this house is. My only question is what is that lying at Janet's feet?

This picture is consistent with Jesse and Mabel Brownmiller's house back porch at Franklin and N 5th street. The thing(s) on the porch look like a pair of shoes or slippers? Maybe Ellen's. mick.......
baby shoes! of course! i kept thinking it was a single object, and it looked like a crumpled up Big Mac wrapper. which would've been quite the anachronism.
Mick's right. This is the Brownmiller grandparents' house they built (mentioned in photo 314), just across 5th Street from where we lived at the time. This is their back porch. I would guess baby shoes too, as Ellen has kicked them off. She is only weeks old there. Are my knees that dirty ??? I actually remember that outfit - it was maroon and white. Janet
