I know right where this was taken - outside Grammy's back porch looking towards the front. The brick wall on the right was painted red; Grammy's wall was tannish. Without this photo, I never would've been able to tell you anything about the porch steps.

Oh what I put those boys through !! I thought they looked so cute in those matching outfits (which I stayed up one whole night to make) but years later I heard they hated to be dressed alike. OH well. We dressed up to go uptown to see the parade. (Hence the flags.) I remembered that side yard as being much wider. Can you believe Bob, Charles and John played basketball in there as teenagers? In summer, there was always a coolness there, and a bit of a breeze, so Grammy liked to sit out there, toward the back, in the shade of the grape arbor. Janet
