Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
Some of the ladies out for a walk. The Blue Rocks were one of my favorite places to visit as a kid. I recently tried to locate them on Google Earth, but failed because I don't know which direction they are, coming out of Lenhartsville.

Blue rocks is north and west of Lenhartsville. 40_35_42N; 75_55_10W. Visible on Google Earth but resolution is lousy. mick.......
ah, there it is. thanks! and its sorta the way i remember it - a lot longer than wide. i vaguely recall a copse of trees about halfway between its top and bottom. i don't see them anymore.
i read somewhere recently that Google Earth now says about 1 in 3 people are now able to see their house on the program. apparently Berks county did something to irk GE and plummet to the bottom of the priority list. one county to the east, the resolution is a lot better.
Don't you just love Google Earth !!! Hamburg is blurred. But I can see Chris's house (south of Chicago) so clearly that I even recognize the car in the driveway! And Mick's house is clearly visible too. Janet
My house here in Mesa is quite clear too. My pick-up is in the driveway, and our trampoline shows up as a black circle in the backyard. We recently got rid of the trampoline, so it will be interesting to see how long it goes before Google Earth updates the satellite image of my neighborhood.
