Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
A typical "float" in the 1966 parade. The King Frost Parade is still held (every October?) in Hamburg, but I haven't seen pics of it in 40 years, so I don't know if its gotten bigger/smaller and/or more/less sophisticated.

This is a masquerader, not a float. The parades in the 1960s were the best ever. The event is still held, but is not nearly as good. Less bands, fewer costumed masqueraders, fewer really good floats, tho some are impressive. But people still talk about the 1960s parades. Janet
