Hey, I recognize that fireplace! This is in the front room at the Brownmiller house. To the right of this (IIRC) was a floor lamp and a long sofa. To the right of that was the entrance to the room from the front hallway. Maybe.

To the left of this fireplace was... um... well, the entrance to the dining room where there was always either good food or a rousing pinochle game. There was probably more to the left than that, but hey, food and cards are the things I remember.

I really like this photo. Two people who not only love each other, but also like each other's company. And it looks like someone also really enjoyed "doing up" the house for Christmas.
