Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
The parade's over. Hey, let's all head over to Schlenker's for a root-beer float. Not that I have any clue where Schlenker's is/was.

Schlenker's was (is??) a Ford dealer in Hamburg. I don't recognize this building but can make out the Ford logo and V8 symbols; so it's the car dealership and probably Hamburg. mick........
I think you're right. I didn't even notice the V-8 logo. Strange that it doesn't say "Ford" or anything like that - just "Schlenker's". Also strange that the dealership has gas pumps out front. And no cars for sale sitting outside. Auto dealerships have certainly changed over the years.
Schlenker's was a Ford dealer that began west of Hamburg, along Rt. 22, which at that time was a main (2-lane) highway, thus had gas pumps. The bigger building at the rear was at one time a dance hall, then Roadside America (or vice versa). There was a small lunch room (with awnings) also. Roadside America moved to Shartlesville, Schlenker's to Hamburg. Janet...
