Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
Hi Bill! Long time, no see. Thanks for the ID'ing Karl. I'm going to guess that the lady in JFL-12 then is Karl's wife. Hope you enjoyed the pics. More to follow. Funny thing about this outing. I obviously was there. But even with these 15 or so pics, I'm still drawing a complete blank on the get-together.
The lady in JFL-12 is Mabel Brownmiller, mother of Charlie and Karl, my grandmother.
I was having significant network problems last night and my second comment never made it. These photos were taken at the Hamburg Playgrond, but I don't know exactly when -- probably between 1968 and 1971.
we're guessing the year is 1967 because of Nancy's children (Mark & Sheila) in the JFL-9 photo. Sheri (my sister) recognized the setting as the Hamburg park too. Now that it's been identified, I recognize the pavilion we're in. That was always a cool park to go to - lots of things to do there.
